Last weekend we went to Detroit Lakes, which might be my new favorite place to go. Everyplace we went was dog-friendly and I got lots of attention everywhere we went.

Our first stop was Outstate Brewing in Fergus Falls, MN, my 60th different brewery. I enjoyed the patio while the Humans enjoyed a pizza.

We checked in to the Holiday Inn as soon as we got to Detroit Lakes. This hotel is very dog friendly. I think most of the rooms on the second floor had dogs in them. I checked for rabbits as soon as we got to the room. No luck.

The balcony was very nice.

Our next stop was at Hub 41. The Staff here was very friendly, and brought me a bowl of water every time we stopped in.

The Lakeside Tavern was my 61st brewery. The Staff here was very friendly, and brought me a big bowl of water and ice every time I stopped in.

On Saturday I did the Andy Beardsley Memorial 5k with one of the Humans, while the other Human did the 10k. I was the first dog finisher at 48:06. The Human finally jogged a little so we made good time.

Our post-race celebrations started at Zorbaz .

Our next stop was at Buck's Mill Brewery in downtown Detroit Lake, my 62nd brewery. This one let me be inside, since they don't have a patio.

I sure was one tired puppy when we finally got back to the Holiday Inn!

Overall a very fun trip, with lot's of places to visit and everyone was very nice to me. On the downside, I only saw one squirrel the whole weekend. Maybe Detroit Lakes isn't my favorite place after all.
