My name is Raija (pronounced Rye-yah) I was born May 29, 2017 I’m 1/2 English Springer Spaniel, 1/2 Chocolate Lab.

I enjoy going on adventures with my Humans and visited my first brewery on 03/07/2021.

Going out in public places together was new to us so we started out slowly. My Humans are not professional dog trainers but this is what worked for me:

-Going for a walk at a nearby park for exercise and to explore nature first

-Visiting breweries at off-peak times

-Sitting outdoors out of high traffic areas

-Bringing along my essentials – see separate article on what is in my bag

I have now been to over 100 breweries as well as many parks.  I prefer being outside but have also learned to enjoy being inside where I’m allowed when the weather isn’t nice.

There are many pages that review the products at the breweries but this page is about the experience from my point of view as well as information about the parks we visited.
